Panthenol

Panthenol appears high in the formula and provides valuable:
Hydration + soothing + barrier-supportive benefits.
It is particularly useful for problematic skin that has become dry, tight or sensitive through active treatment.
Niacinamide
A multifunctional form of Vitamin B3.
Niacinamide helps support:
Barrier function + more even-looking tone + oil balance + overall skin resilience.
This makes it particularly appropriate in a moisturiser intended for combination and oilier skin.
The finished-product percentage is not currently published, so I would not assign a concentration.
Zinc Gluconate
A zinc salt commonly incorporated into skincare for oily and blemish-prone complexions.
Within Hydra Lite Lotion it provides complementary support for:
Sebum balance + skin comfort + problematic skin.
For customer-facing copy, keep the claim cosmetic rather than positioning Zinc Gluconate as an acne medication.
Portulaca Oleracea / Purslane Extract
A soothing botanical particularly useful in formulations for sensitive, reactive and blemish-prone skin.
It helps support:
Skin comfort + visible calming + antioxidant defence.
Myristoyl/Palmitoyl Oxostearamide/Arachamide MEA
A synthetic pseudo-ceramide / pseudo-dermal lipid.
Its purpose is to mimic important structural lipids within the outer skin barrier and support:
Moisture retention + barrier resilience + skin comfort.
For Chris & Alley, I would describe this as:
Pseudo-ceramide barrier technology.
It should not be renamed Ceramide NP because these are different ingredients.
Methyl Caprooyl Tyrosinate / Defensamide
A skin-conditioning ingredient known commercially as Defensamide.
It is incorporated into barrier-focused formulations to support the skin's natural protective functions.
For Chris & Alley, use:
Supports skin resilience and natural barrier defence.
Avoid antibacterial or infection-prevention claims.
Phytosterols
Plant-derived lipid compounds that help support the skin's surface barrier and improve skin conditioning.

Sodium Hyaluronate

Safflower Seed Oil

Vitamin E / Tocopheryl Acetate
Provides antioxidant and skin-conditioning support.
Glycerin + Propanediol
Humectants that attract water and provide the foundation of the lotion's lightweight hydration system.
Dimethicone
Helps smooth the skin and reduce excessive moisture loss while maintaining a lightweight finish.

Apply once or twice daily after cleansing, tonic and treatment serums.
Smooth an appropriate amount over the:
Face + Neck
and massage gently until completely absorbed.
Additional product may be applied to the chest if required.
Morning
Follow with a broad-spectrum SPF 30–50+, with SPF 50+ preferred when managing pigmentation, acne marks or when using active treatments.
Evening
Use as your final moisturising step after treatment serums.
