Refund policy

  • CHRIS & ALLEY® RETURNS AND EXCHANGE POLICY

    • Circumstances in which Returns and/or Exchanges are allowed
      • We permit returns and/or exchanges in the following instances:
        • The incorrect product has been delivered to you.
        • The product delivered to you or handed to you is damaged or defective.
        • You do not want the product which was delivered to you.

The product has the incorrect size or specifications.

  • Service Packages Purchased In-Store
    • All service packages purchased in-store are non-refundable unless required by law.

    • If a refund is approved at our discretion, it will be issued in the form of a Chris & Alley gift voucher only.

    • If the service was available for use, but the client chose not to redeem it (e.g., due to relocation or personal scheduling conflicts), no cash refund will be provided, as the service was made accessible within the intended redemption period.

    • Packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified.

 

  • When a Return and/or Exchange needs to be initiated
    • Returns and/or exchanges for the ChrisAlley.co.za Domain need to be initiated within ten days of delivery of the product having been delivered to you.
  • The choices you have upon Returning the Product
    • When a product is returned to us you can:
      • Have the amount refunded to you.
      • Have the product replaced/exchanged.
    • How a Return and/or Exchange is initiated
      • All returns and/or exchanges shall be initiated by means of an email sent to returns@chrisalley.co.za setting out:
        • the reason for the return.
        • whether you would like a refund or a replacement.
        • if you would like the product to be collected, the address from where the product needs to be collected from.
      • Condition of the Product Returned
        • In returning the product to us, the following shall apply. The product needs to be:
          • Undamaged
          • Unused
          • In the original packaging.
          • Packaged and wrapped correctly and safely by you.
        • Manner of Return
          • We will send a courier to your address to collect the product in the event a product was delivered to you.
          • In the case where a product was purchased in store, the product needs to be returned tot he branch at which it was purchased.
        • What will happen once a Product is returned
          • Once returned, and subject to a product inspection, you will either receive a refund or a replacement, as per your preference.
        • Product Inspection
          • Once returned, and prior to accepting such return, we will be permitted to inspect the product.
          • Should the product in our reasonable discretion not be suited to be returned, we shall not be obliged to accept such return.
        • Items not eligible for a refund
          • Gift Cards
          • Bonus Gift Cards Received with the purchase of any promotional Gift cards.
          • Free Products offered as a free product as part of a promotional bundle.
          • Make-up or Fragrances which has been opened
          • Any customised or personalised products which have been personalised for you and cannot be re-sold.
        • Return & Refund Costs 
          • Any Return which is not as a result of Chris&Alley will not involve a cost as long as its within 10 Days of Purchase. Calculated from the exact time an order was placed.
          • When a Return is initiated and is not as a result of Chris&Alley's Mistake, there will be a cost involved, the cost associated for the return shipment for the courier will be deducted from the refund amount. The actual Courier cost would depend on the urgency as well as the location and size of the parcel to be returned.
          • There will also be a handling fee which will include the transaction costs associated with the transaction, this cost will be 3% of the total value of the initial transaction. 
        • Services and Treatments

Subject to section 16 and 19 in conjunction with  Section 20 of the Consumer Protection Act No. 68 of 2008, (“the CPA”),

 

Nails:

  • Nail polish applications – An option for a reapplication/ Redo to be done within 2 days at the store in which the service was rendered in.

 

  • Gelish/RubberBase/Overlays/Sculpture/PolyGel/Gelish/Dip/Acrylic applications – An option for a reapplication needs to be done within 7 days at the store in which the service was rendered in.

 

  • Nails which Chip/Crack or break due to normal wear and tea rand be repaired at our standard Repair Service Costs

 

          • Nail Growth is a natural process and as a result any nail application will naturally grow with the nail, as a result of this we cannot offer a Fill as a repair.

 

            Eyelash Extensions

  • Maintanance on Eye Lash extensions is an important aspect and refills are required 2-3 weeks from your last treatment, this is in order to ensure longevity of the original lash line.
  • Application of Lashes: Lash Extensions length, Thickness and shape is determined upon inspection of your natural lashes
  • Eye Lashes normally shed between 1-5 lashes per day, full eye lash growth cycles vary from individual to individual however the full life cycle of an eyelash is approximately 60 to 90 days.
  • In the event of a reapplication or refund required, the request needs to be done within 1-3 days at the store at which the lashes service was rendered. Refund ons Eyelash extensions will be determined on an individual basis.
