Fernblock®
Heliocare's signature fern-derived antioxidant technology based on Polypodium Leucotomos Leaf Extract.
Fernblock® provides complementary antioxidant and photoprotective support alongside the sunscreen filters, helping neutralise free radicals generated during UV exposure.
It does not replace sunscreen filters; rather, it forms part of Heliocare's broader strategy for protecting skin from the consequences of solar exposure. Cantabria Labs still lists Fernblock®, rather than the newer ASPA-Fernblock® used in some 360° formulas, for Ultra 90.
Glycosylase
Cantabria Labs continues to highlight Glycosylase as one of Ultra 90's principal technologies.
It forms part of the formula's repair-support strategy following UV-related stress.
For Chris & Alley I would avoid stronger language such as “repairs all DNA damage”. A more responsible description is:
Supports the skin's natural repair processes following UV exposure.
The public manufacturer page does not provide a definitive one-to-one mapping between Glycosylase and an individual INCI name, so I would keep Glycosylase as the branded technology rather than guessing.
Green Tea Extract
Listed as Camellia Sinensis Extract in currently published ingredient declarations.
Green Tea provides antioxidant and soothing support, helping defend against free-radical stress associated with UV and environmental exposure.
Vitamin E
Tocopheryl Acetate provides complementary lipid-soluble antioxidant support and helps condition the skin.
Phytosphingosine
A skin-conditioning lipid component included in the formula.
It provides complementary barrier support and is frequently incorporated into formulas developed for oilier or blemish-prone skin.
Hybrid UV Filter System
Current published formulations contain a combination of organic and mineral UV filters, including:
Octocrylene — contributes primarily to UVB protection and overall photostability.
Homosalate — provides complementary UVB protection in the newer circulating formulation.
Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane / Avobenzone — provides UVA protection.

Cover the entire face evenly, including the hairline and other exposed areas.
Reapply frequently, particularly:

After heavy sweating
After towel drying
During prolonged sun exposure
Heliocare specifically instructs frequent reapplication after bathing or excessive sweating.
