Urea is naturally present within the skin's Natural Moisturising Factor and acts as an effective humectant, helping attract and retain water within the stratum corneum.
At the 5% concentration used here, its primary role is to support:
Hydration + softness + improved moisture retention + relief from rough, dry skin.
It is particularly valuable for severely dry or compromised skin.
Urea can occasionally sting when applied to very fissured or acutely irritated skin, so individual tolerance should guide use.
Panthenol
Also known as Pro-Vitamin B5.
Panthenol provides:

Its position high in the ingredient list makes it an important part of the emulsion's restorative profile.
Myristoyl/Palmitoyloxostearamide/Arachamide MEA
