Fernblock® / Polypodium Leucotomos Leaf Extract
Heliocare’s signature fern-derived antioxidant technology.
It complements the sunscreen filters by helping provide antioxidant support against oxidative stress associated with solar exposure. Cantabria Labs currently retains Fernblock®/Fernblock+ for Body Glow rather than positioning this product around the newer ASPA-Fernblock platform.
Six-Mica Glow Complex
A combination of light-reflecting mineral powders creates the characteristic golden shimmer.
Current pigment and effect ingredients include Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Tin Oxide and Iron Oxides.
These provide the visible glow rather than tanning the skin.
Vitamin C
The formula contains Ascorbic Acid and Ascorbyl Palmitate, providing complementary antioxidant support.
Vitamin E
Tocopheryl Acetate and Tocopherol provide additional antioxidant and skin-conditioning support.
UV Filter System
The current formula includes:
Octocrylene — predominantly UVB protection and photostability support.
Ethylhexyl Salicylate / Octisalate — complementary UVB protection.
Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane / Avobenzone — UVA protection.
Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone — highly photostable high-energy UV protection.
Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine / Tinosorb S — photostable broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection.
Titanium Dioxide — mineral UV-filter support.
Together they provide the current SPF 50+ / PA++++ rating.

Shake well before use.
Apply generously and evenly over exposed body areas before sun exposure.
Cover the skin thoroughly rather than applying only enough product to create the desired shimmer.
Reapply approximately every two hours during ongoing exposure, and after:
Swimming
Heavy sweating
Towel drying
Cantabria Labs specifically advises regular reapplication despite the product being water, sweat and sand resistant.
Allow the product to settle before dressing, as the luminous pigments may transfer onto clothing or swimwear.
