Bifida Ferment Lysate
The defining ingredient in Skin Essence Rejuvenate and the first ingredient in the currently published South African INCI.
Bifida Ferment Lysate is produced from bacterial fermentation and contains components derived from the microorganisms after processing.
Lamelle positions its probiotic lysate technology around supporting the skin microbiome, barrier health and resilience, particularly where skin is stressed or prone to over-reactivity.
Importantly, this is a lysate, not a product containing live probiotic bacteria.
For Chris & Alley, I would therefore use language such as:
“supports a balanced skin microbiome environment”
rather than suggesting the essence literally deposits live probiotics onto the skin.
Probiotic Lysate Technology
Lamelle uses “probiotic lysate” as the wider technology description and specifically identifies Bifida Ferment Lysatewithin the formula.
I would not list “Probiotic Lysate” and “Bifida Ferment Lysate” as though they are necessarily two separate INCI ingredients — the currently published full ingredient list identifies Bifida Ferment Lysate.
Evodia Rutaecarpa Fruit Extract
A botanical skin-conditioning ingredient included in the current formulation.
Evodia fruit extract is also used in skincare to support a more radiant-looking complexion, although the evidence for strong standalone brightening claims is much less established than for conventional pigmentation actives.
For this product, I would position it conservatively as providing skin-conditioning and radiance support rather than as a dedicated brightening active.
Butylene Glycol + Pentylene Glycol
Humectant and solvent ingredients that help attract moisture and maintain a lightweight, comfortable skin feel.
They contribute to the immediate hydration that makes the essence useful before treatment serums.
Amino Acids
Lamelle’s current manufacturer copy specifically states that amino acids within the essence help support skin repair and resilience.
However, the published retailer INCI does not list a separate amino-acid complex.
I would therefore refer to amino-acid components within the bio-rich/probiotic-lysate system, rather than presenting an independent “Amino Acid Complex” as a standalone ingredient unless Lamelle confirms that terminology on the current technical sheet.

Use morning and evening after cleansing.
With the current spray format:
Spritz Skin Essence Rejuvenate evenly over clean skin.
Gently press or pat any excess product into the face and neck until absorbed.
Do not rinse.
Follow with your chosen corrective serum, moisturiser and sunscreen during the day.
Current South African instructions for the spray presentation specifically recommend applying after cleansing and then following with serum and moisturiser.
