Heliocare’s signature fern-derived photoprotection technology based around Polypodium Leucotomos Leaf Extract.
Fernblock®+ provides antioxidant support that complements the sunscreen-filter system, helping defend against free-radical and cellular stress associated with solar exposure.
It is an additional photoprotective technology — it does not replace the UV filters or the need for correct sunscreen application.
Glycosylase
Cantabria Labs currently lists Glycosylase as one of the lotion’s principal repair-support technologies.
It is incorporated as part of Heliocare’s broader strategy for supporting the skin’s natural repair mechanisms following UV-related stress.

Physavie
Represented in the formula by Physalis Angulata Extract.
Physavie provides antioxidant and soothing support and is used within Heliocare’s wider strategy against the effects of environmental and infrared-related stress.
OTZ 10
Represented by Oxothiazolidine in the current ingredient declaration.
This antioxidant technology provides complementary protection against reactive oxidative species generated during solar exposure.
Biomimetic Melanin
The current INCI contains Melanin.
Heliocare incorporates biomimetic melanin as part of the wider strategy for protection across wavelengths beyond conventional UV.
It complements rather than replaces the labelled sunscreen filters.
Arginine
An amino acid highlighted by Heliocare as part of the pediatric formula.
Arginine provides skin-conditioning support and contributes to maintaining a healthy skin environment.
Glycerin
A well-established humectant that helps attract and retain water within the outer skin layers.
Its inclusion is particularly useful in children’s sunscreen because repeated sun exposure, swimming and cleansing can leave skin feeling depleted.
Ferulic Acid + Caffeic Acid
Plant-derived antioxidant compounds that help reinforce the formula’s protection against oxidative stress.

Vitamin E
The formula contains both Tocopheryl Acetate and Tocopherol.

UV Filter System
Unlike the Pediatrics Mineral 50ml, this is not a mineral-only sunscreen.
The current formula contains organic sunscreen filters including:
Octocrylene
Provides primarily UVB protection and helps support photostability.
Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane / Avobenzone
A dedicated UVA filter.
Ethylhexyl Salicylate / Octisalate
Provides complementary UVB protection.
Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone
A highly photostable sunscreen filter contributing to the high overall SPF.
Together, these form the principal UV-filter system behind the product’s high-level protection.

Shake well before use.

Heliocare specifically advises that babies and young children should be kept out of direct sunlight, even when sunscreen has been applied.
