Safflower Seed Oil
Listed as Carthamus Tinctorius Seed Oil, this is the ingredient Dr. Schrammek refers to as “thistle oil” in some English translations.
It is positioned second in the current formula and provides significant emollient and moisture-retaining support.
For Chris & Alley I would use Safflower Oil rather than “Thistle Oil”, because it is clearer and corresponds directly with the INCI.
Wheat Germ Oil
Triticum Vulgare Germ Oil is a rich botanical oil naturally containing lipid-soluble components that help condition dry skin.
Dr. Schrammek highlights it for antioxidant support and improved elasticity.
Wheat Germ Extract / Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein
Provides additional skin-conditioning support and complements the nourishing Wheat Germ Oil.
The manufacturer also positions its wheat-derived technology around antioxidant and skin-supporting benefits.
Shea Butter
A rich emollient that helps replenish lipids, soften dry skin and reduce moisture loss.
