Fernblock®+
Heliocare’s fern-derived photoprotection technology based around Polypodium Leucotomos Leaf Extract.
Fernblock®+ provides complementary antioxidant support alongside the sunscreen filters, helping protect against free-radical and cellular stress associated with solar exposure. Cantabria Labs continues to use Fernblock®+, rather than its newer ASPA-Fernblock® platform, for the current Invisible Spray.
That distinction is useful because we do not need to wait for a Rooibos/ASPA stock transition on this product the way we did with Water Gel and Gel Oil-Free.
Glycosylase
Cantabria Labs currently lists Glycosylase as one of Invisible Spray’s main repair-support technologies.
I would keep the claim measured:
“Supports the skin’s natural repair mechanisms following UV-related stress.”
rather than stating that it completely reverses DNA damage.
The manufacturer does not publicly map Glycosylase to one specific INCI ingredient on this product, so I would keep it as the branded technology rather than guessing.
Physavie / Physalis Angulata Extract
A botanical antioxidant and soothing ingredient used within Heliocare’s broader strategy against environmental and infrared-related stress.
The current South African full INCI explicitly contains Physalis Angulata Extract.
OTZ 10 / Oxothiazolidine
A specialised antioxidant technology represented in the ingredient declaration by Oxothiazolidine.
It helps reinforce defence against oxidative stress associated with solar exposure.
Ferulic Acid + Caffeic Acid
Complementary plant-derived antioxidants that help reinforce the formula’s overall defence against oxidative stress.
Green Tea Extract
Listed as Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract.
Green Tea provides additional antioxidant and soothing support and forms part of the wider Heliocare environmental-defence story.
Vitamin E
The formula contains both Tocopheryl Acetate and Tocopherol, providing complementary lipid-soluble antioxidant and conditioning support.
Ascorbyl Palmitate
An oil-soluble Vitamin C derivative providing additional antioxidant support.
This should remain a supporting ingredient story rather than positioning Invisible Spray as a dedicated Vitamin C treatment.
UV Filter System
Invisible Spray uses an organic UV-filter system, not mineral Zinc Oxide or Titanium Dioxide.
The current formula includes:
Octocrylene
Provides primarily UVB protection and contributes to filter photostability.
Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane / Avobenzone
A dedicated UVA filter.
Ethylhexyl Salicylate / Octisalate
Provides complementary UVB protection.
Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine / Tinosorb S
A highly photostable broad-spectrum UVA/UVB filter.
Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone
A highly photostable sunscreen filter contributing strong UV protection.
Together, these support the product’s current SPF 50+ / PA++++ rating.

Shake well before use.
Apply a generous, even layer over all exposed body areas before sun exposure.
The clear spray can also be applied to wet skin, which makes it particularly practical when reapplying after swimming.
Reapply approximately every two hours during ongoing exposure, and sooner:
After swimming
After heavy sweating
After towel drying
During prolonged outdoor activity
Cantabria Labs specifically advises covering the entire body thoroughly rather than relying on a quick light mist.
